Always bring your attention to how you are defining yourself and your children, because that is going to be the model of how they define themselves, who they think they are, and what they think they are capable of.

Before age 7 building children's confidence and self esteem is crucial. Children under 7 believe everything they're told... about themselves and about the world around them and they accept this as fact. This becomes their model of the world. Their brains are still in a hyper-learning phase with much slower brainwaves, called Theta. This is the same brainwave state that as Hypnotherapists, we relax adults to, in order to to access their subconscious mind and reframe moments that have kept them stuck.  This is why I work with parents of children under 7, to make sure we instil them with confidence and self esteem for life, as their belief systems are forming.
